Is willing to make the necessary lifestyle changes to enhance her health and recovery.
Chooses to allow cancer to serve as a catalyst for change, instead of a paralyzing force in one's life.
Understands that she may not be able to change the situation, but she can change her reaction to the situation.
Chooses the treatment plan that is right for her, not others whether that includes conventional, naturopathic or an integrative approach.
Recognizes that cancer is something that you get, it is NOT something that defines who you are.
Consistently asks herself one question as she makes every day decisions - will this add to my health or detract from it?

Most importantly, a Cancer Superhero understands that no matter what prognosis is given, she has the choice to accept or reject it. She can choose life.
